Busy Bee

There are no other excuses for my long absence in the blogging world, except for the fact that I have been super swamped with work, work and more work!  It seems that I have bitten off more than I could chew with my new sideline… Not that I’m complaining, business has been quite good ever since I announced that I’m doing it again but with all the paperwork and presentations I have to attend to at the office nowadays, I barely have time to just sit and relax, much less to write something for my blog!  So here I am in between tasks, and yet stealing a bit of time to update my neglected blog…

Hmmm… what have I been up to lately?  Here’s the low-down:  I have finished two layouts for invites of my friends’ children’s birthday.  One ordered 100 pieces of the invites plus 120 giveaways and the other ordered 80 pieces invitations and 100 pieces of the giveaways.  I am also half-way through with my assignment for the AVP of my boss’ retirement party on October.  Yes folks!  That’s not a typo… the party’s in October and yet I am rushed to finish the preps for the AVP because I was told that it should be finished before the end of the first week of August!  I am encoding what seems to be an epic compilation of session plans and I don’t think I would be finishing this soon since every time I submit twenty pages or so for proofreading and changes, I get another thirty to add to the now 1 foot high pile of pages that need to be encoded!  On the bright side, I think my typing ability has now improved and the number of words per minute has increased immensely, hehehe!  Oh and another sideline was added to the now long line of business deals I am embarking on… I sell Victoria’s Secret colognes and lotions.  Mostly I sell to my officemates and friends, friends of friends and so on… but like I said, business is good and I have no cause for complains in the income department but boy am I tired.  Last night, I literally fell into bed after a day filled with house chores.  Sometimes I feel that the two-day rest from work isn’t really rest because I have to do lots of stuff in the house but that’s okay though because I lost 5lbs. already due to this busy spell that I have been in for the past couple of weeks…  Hahahahaha!  Hopefully I would lose more pounds so I could have one less problem.  Anyway, I think this update is long enough for a post… I really need to get back to work now.
