Updates

How do I update?  Let me count the ways… hehehe!  Here's what's been happening with me so far:

April 2

Last day at work before the Holy Week vacation (I know April 3 should have been a regular work day for us but our boss said we were free to NOT go to work so… sino ba naman ako para tumanggi sa mas mahabang bakasyon?)  Anyways, I got so excited with the long vacation that I ended up hoarding junk food and DVDs that I have been wanting to watch for the longest time… result:  MAJOR SWIPING OF CREDIT CARD!

April 5 (Holy Thursday)

After a brief moment of prayer, Charlie and I spent the day tinkering with what little garden we have… we planted Duranta(s), Bougainvilla(s), Gumamela(s) and White Angels in front of our fence then at around five thirty in the afternoon we started grilling Tilapia for dinner.

April 8 (Easter Sunday)

My day started really bad because I was having cramps which got really worse as the day progressed.  To top it off, Charlie had to attend his nephew's birthday in Cavite so I was left alone in the house until around 9pm.  I stayed in bed the entire time with the exception of bathroom breaks.

April 9 (Araw ng Kagitingan)

Good thing it was still a holiday because the arrival of my monthly period was accompanied with major mentrual cramps and nausea… haaay naku, I thought pa naman I'm preggy na… I even bought na Home Pregnancy Test Kits in case I missed my period again this month (I've missed for two months na but when I tested the first month, it was negative so I was thinking pag third month nag-miss pa rin magtetest na ako ulit) but…. anyway…. try and try…

April 16

Quite a busy day at work but since my Mom and youngest sister Mae is staying at our house, I had to get home early to prepare dinner for them (kakahiya naman kung sila pa paglulutuin ko e guests namin sila).  I cooked a simple dish lang naman para mabilis (tinolang manok) saka kakatamad magbabad sa harap ng stove, super init kasi…

Yun lang naman, nothing major to report.  Still not preggy, still working hard to earn a living, still waiting for the month of May (our family outing is scheduled in May kasi…), still gaining weight, still taking fertility medication, still addict sa Harvest Moon (game sa gameboy), still two thirds done sa two years na yatang in the making na "mother and child" na cross stitch….
